Samples!!

I got my Sample Showcase box in the mail today. I've been waiting almost 2 weeks for it, but it finally arrived! here are some pictures of it. I was a little bummed that I didn't get some of the things that I saw other people get, but I did get things that I will use:

I also received tasters choice coffee samples today, so those will go nice with my coffee-mate creamer samples :)  Oh yea, I also save $20 on my total bill today at walmart with coupons!

Hi Everyone! Thanksgiving is tomorrow! We are not going home (to michigan) this year, but we are going to a co-workers house to have dinner. We are saving our time to travel for Christmas time. I hope to make some videos over the weekend. I have Thurs, Fri & Sat off this week. I also hope to get a new camera for Christmas so that i don't have to use my web cam anymore. I don't have good lighting with my web cam and sometimes the sound is not very good sometimes either.

Other than that, not much is going on. We are getting ready and making lists for Christmas shopping for each other and our family. I love shopping for others and wrapping the gifts and the everything that goes with that. I just love Christmas! haha.

Just call me "Samples"

At work the girls started calling me "samples"! It's kinda funny, but it's true. I always have to tell people about the free samples that I get in the mail. Yesterday I got a free pair of glasses! yes I said it GLASSES! They are even prescription. I did have to pay shipping, but that was not much. They were a $128.00 pair of frames w/ regular prescription lenses for only $16.00 shipped  to my house! It was from a company called coastal contacts.com. All you had to do was "like" them on facebook and they gave you a code to use to get the glasses for only the cost of shipping. It was great! Today I signed up for a free sample of cat food (purina, which is a great brand and always a large sample) and a sample of Folgers coffee. Last week I got some breathe right strips in the mail. I don't snore, but I wanted to try them out to see what they are like. :o) I would love to get scrapbook item samples, but I can never find anything like that.

YouTube

I have been trying to post YouTube videos about scrapbooking latley. I have a few done, but not many. I recorded this morning, but I didn't like how it turned out. I love the card that I made, so I think I will just make the same card again and record again. It's okay to have 2 of the same cards, afterall it is a Christmas card! :o)  My youtube name is Adshaw32, so check me out! New Blog

Hey! I had to create a new blog site because I got sick of logging into mulitiple accounts. My primary Email is now a Gmail account, but BlogSpot wouldn't let me connect my old blog (yahoo account) with my new Gmail account. It was a pain in the neck! So anyways, I just created a new one using my Gmail account so now I can use my primary Email account for everything.

Anyways, my best friend was recently diagnosied with Multiple Sclerosis. :o( She really wants to get the new procedure done that has shown to really help people with MS. Its new, costly, and ins. is not paying for it yet. So i decided to help her out by having a little fundraiser for her. I made these Christmas tags to sell at work. (don't mind the cat paws, I couldn't get her away!)

I will be selling them 10 tags for $2. I put them in nice little sealed bags and have them in a basket. We will see how these sell and I will make more depending on the results. I hope that it's successful! I put some times into these & I really want to give my friend that money that I raise for Christmas. She doesn't know about it, so it will be a great surprise for her & her family. She has 2 young boys and a great Husband.

I also purchased a Crop-A-Dile last night. I really like the look of eyelets on cards and scrapbook pages, but I don't know how to do them. So I bought the crop-a-dile in hopes to figure them out. I tried it a bit last night, but my eyelets kept breaking. I'm not sure if I am squeezing too hard, or if my eyelets are just not good quality. They are Spare Parts brand from Hobby Lobby. Any ideas?? I love the hold punch on it though! It worked great for punching the holes for my tags!
